Introduction

This is a suggested assembly instruction of a SuperAuto USA Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler for 2024+ Ford Mustang S650.

Tool Needed

• Phillips head screwdriver (4 inches and longer)

Tool Suggested

• Microfiber towels

• Surface cleaner

• Car surface compound and wax

Open box and remove wraps, inspect products. Products in the box includes: 

• Main Spoiler * 1

• Spoiler Center Bracket * 1

• Spoiler Side Bracket * 2

• Spoiler Side Plates * 2

• Gurney Flap * 1

• Trim Cover * 4

• Hardwares * 1

1. Install spoiler center bracket

Flip the main spoiler to the back side and attach the spoiler center bracket to the main spoiler.

After attaching the center bracket to the main spoiler, use a long phillip head screwdriver and hand-tight the phillip head screws through the screw holes to the main spoiler. Note, Over tightening the screws could damage the parts!

2. Installed the Spoiler Side Plates


Install Side Plates one side at the time, align the Side Plate to the corresponding side of the main spoiler.

After aligned the side plate to the main spoiler, use 3 screws tighten the side plate to the main spoiler.

Repeat these steps for the other side

3. Install the Spoiler Side Bracket

Install Side Bracket one side at the time, align the Side Bracket to corresponding bottom side of the Side Plate

Hand-Tight the 3 screws, make adjustments. Pay attention! don't over tighten! 

4. Install the trim covers

5. Install the Gurney Flap

6. Preparation before installation

Preparation and maintenance are crucial before/after installation. Cleaning the surface using soap water or car paint cleaner, compounding, and waxing are highly recommended for carbon fiber products.
